“Douglas” Corner…,sounds like a cool club:)
How to play the bass as LOUD as you want at the NAMM show.
So dig this. This year at the NAMM show in sunny Anaheim, CA I’ll be performing at the Pedulla Guitars booth, but with a twist…
If you’ve ever been to a NAMM show, you know how crazy loud it can get with everybody trying out instruments, and inevitably the volume police show up at the booth. And if they have to come back, “the volume police” will shut the booth down for good (seen it happen)!
I get it, everybody wants to get their “spikity-spak, spikity-spak” on (imagine a bass player playing ultra fast – it sounds a little like “lookatme-lookatme-lookatme-lookatme”). No matter what you call it, playing like this at a low volume is a bitch.
This year, you don’t have to compete with that to hear how a Pedulla sounds! The kind folks at Pedulla Guitars reserved a sound-booth in Hall D, Demonstration Room #1 on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. I’ll be at the Demonstration Room #1 to get my NAMM-chop on, as well as let others who want to demo a Pedulla bass get their NAMM-chop on (only Pedulla Basses allowed in demo room).
Hell, I might even have a drummer in that room with me and play a couple of tunes off of my new upcoming CD to get a little grease on the walls.
Recap of performances for Pedulla Grooves:
Saturday Jan 24th 10:00-11:30, Demonstration Room #1, Hall D. Also, 3:00 at the Pedulla Booth 5962 Hall B.
Sunday Jan 25th 10:00-11:30, Demonstration Room #1, Hall D.
See ya there, and we’ll grab a Pedulla Bass and crank it up!
